NOTES:
[1] The M1 Heavy Tractor was an "off the shelf" tracked tractor to tow artillery pieces. They were not equipped with blades. The 7.5-ton truck (6×6) prime mover (Field Artillery) with winch, could be issued in lieu of the heavy tractor (M1).
  [2] Motor vehicles for the Hawaiian, Philippine, Puerto Rico, and Panama Canal departments were authorized in accordance with special allowances.
