NOTES:
[1] The 21st Light Division had been removed from the official peace time order of battle on 01.10.1943. However, the Headquarters, 21st Division remained in being with the occupation forces on the East Front (owing the critical situation there), and was finally dissolved in May 1944. Its remnants were transferred to the 18th Reserve Division.
