– The 13th Reconnaissance Battalion was at Kortrijk, detached to Coastal Command, in order to guide the advance of the allied troops in Belgium.

        – The 37th Infantry Regiment was at Osstend, detached to the Coastal Command;
        – the 16th Reconnaissance Battalion was at Veurne/Dijksmuide, detached to the Coastal Command, in order to guide the advance of the allied troops in Belgium;
        – the 12th Engineer Battalion was at Nivelles, detached to VIth Army Corps.

– The 17th Reconnaissance Battalion was detached to Ist Corps as early-alert unit (North of Maastricht).
